Welcome to Linthorpe Community Primary School
Linthorpe Community Primary School is a large three form entry primary school in the centre of Middlesbrough with a 78 place Nursery. At Linthorpe Community Primary School we believe that every child matters. We aim to provide a rich, stimulating and creative environment in which all of our children are inspired to develop an enthusiasm for learning. In partnership with parents and carers, we are committed to providing a positive, safe, happy and well balanced educational experience, where every child is respected and nurtured as a learner.
We promote a culture of high achievement for all and our aim is to prepare our children for their future. We provide a challenging and engaging curriculum so that the children develop as life-long learners and as caring citizens within their communities.
We follow the achievement of our children very closely through rigorous assessment and tracking of progress and this is shared with parents and carers on a regular basis. There are strategies and programmes in place for children who may need support and intervention to achieve their targets. To find out more about how our pupils are achieving, look at the Department for Education Performance Data site, click here.
